Aikins Partu holds a BA in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Aikins comes on board with needed qualification and experience acquired from many years in the industry. He is a highly motivated and result driven individual with over six (6) years’ experience in the Banking Industry as an investment officer, Risk, Compliance and Internal control officer, Branch Operations Officer. As an investment officer, he worked closely with the Central Securities Depository and the Bank of Ghana on weekly Treasury bill/ notes/ bonds Auctions and as such has appreciable experience and understanding of the Ghanaian Money and Capital markets. While working at CIG, he was a key member of the team charged with considering the viability of entering new markets; conducted financial and operational due diligence in acquisition of new companies. He also conducted forensic audits that uncovered high profile frauds within the management of the company. Since November 2016, He has been serving as Internal Control and Compliance officer at Options Micro finance Limited. Aikins is also an active member of the Association of Certified Compliance Professionals of Africa. He is well adept with the regulations, procedures and requirements that govern the industry and as such advocates high standard of compliance consistent with best practice.
